I didn’t wait to find out. As a side-hustIe, I pivoted on-line to e-commerce, consulting and agency work. I found my footing in content creation, working with early-stage startups that needed technical guidance but couldn’t afford to hire it full-time. That work gave me something unexpected: a front-row seat to how marketing, sales, and copywriting actually operate at the ground level.
But I kept running into the same problem. The people delivering the message didn’t have the subject experience. There was a gap — and it was obvious to anyone who’d spent real time in an industry.
